Happy New Year!
Hello again, I pray that all has been going well these first few days of the new year!

This week’s post is relatively short and to the point. The past two posts of the same title, and the site overall, are to help you open up so God can become real to you. It’s ultimately your choice (will) to believe or not. However, your disbelief does not disprove God. Does my belief prove God? My belief does not prove God to you!

I struggled to find the right scriptures for this post, because quoting scripture to a denier is almost pointless. However, I did find this one:

How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it! These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves! — Proverbs 1:17-18 (NIV)

Thinking about a bird in this setting, because it cannot see a net, it feels free to fly wherever it wants. It’s unaware of a net, but that does not mean a net does not exist.

I do not need to defend God: no one needs to defend His existence or His actions. He can defend Himself; if He so chooses.

In the same context as the net, the best predators use stealth, they sit, and they wait for their prey. They do not need to boast, flex or make displays of power. When the time is right, they ambush.

To be crystal clear, the bird is your soul and the ambush is your appointed time of death. You then stand before God and you see that he is real. What happens then?

May God humble, soften and change all who read this.
May God bless and keep all brothers and sisters, new and old, in the faith in his name.

With his love and mine,
Chrom
