I think this is the best thing to start as a first blog.

If you made it this far into the site, then I will assume that you are at least somewhat curious about God. See, that there? That curiosity? Feed that curiosity! That is: desire and hunger to know more about God. That’s the key to God revealing himself; and God must reveal himself to us. We don’t “find” him per se, because he’s already there waiting.

When I was a teen, I did not believe and God. In fact I criticized and ridiculed people who did. Then, I believed, but I believed with criticism and challenge. “So, let’s say this God thing is real. Then if you are real, why did you do this or that? Why do you let bad stuff happen?” But one day, one day… I decided to just be quiet. And in that quietness and sincerity I thought about God. From that day forward God has been more real to me than the sun shining on my face during a hot summer day.

Psalm 138:6 –“Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.”

God revealed himself to me (became real in my heart), when I humbled myself to him. That’s the key to God revealing himself: be curious, but be humble, open, and sincere about it.
