Hello again! I pray that all is well and all will be well in your lives.

So, for the past couple of posts, we’ve been talking about the reality of God. In those posts, and the site overall, you probably noticed me talking about Jesus, but why Jesus? Well, for most people, they are religious because of tribalism: their family was “xyz” religion, even “abc” denomination. Therefore, so are they, and they will die on that hill so help them.

Again, so why Jesus? Why is it not tribalism with Him just as well? I could give you a ton of theological, analytical, intellectual, and so on answers, but that is 100% not the point of this blog. Many people, Christians included, will force and oppress their religion on you. And when that happens, that is just what it is, another religion and ultimately tribalism. In fact, I truly thought that the first post on the site was going to be all about Jesus. However, that’s not the direction the Spirit wanted to go. This is in no way putting Jesus on the back burner!

We live in a world where most people already know the story of Jesus. Also, many people simply do not believe in God: spirituality has been lost in this last generation. And that’s directly a result of the church losing its power; not the fault of this generation itself. People need to experience the gospel in spirit and in truth. Therefore, the first couple of posts are to help you open up your spiritual side, so you can receive God. Remember in the first post I said: God must reveal himself to us. We don’t “find” him per se.

Rev 3:20 NIV — “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

“Dude, I was with you for a bit, but then you quoted that scripture and made this all tribal again…”
That may seem tribal, except for one thing… Jesus is a personal thing, as he says in that very scripture! He wants to know YOU personally, and He wants you to know HIM personally. He wants an individual (in His name), relationship with you.

When you open up and let him in you will experience the next scripture:

John 14:6-7 NIV — “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.”

That is the point of this entire site, and what I pray you take away from it. It is neither meant to force a religion nor an ideology on you. It is meant to be simple, and most of all introduce you to Jesus; His Spirit will do the rest, not me or ideologies. God is not some distant deity who is unempathetic or only wants a symbiotic relationship requiring rituals, observances and/or offerings. So, drop your tribalism, or whatever it is… Open up both your heart and mind to Him. And, be sincere and humble about it. I cannot stress enough to be sincere. Sincerity is the spiritual equivalent of you opening the door…

Ask him to be real to you and believe in Him. Ask Him to forgive you and come into your life and start a personal relationship.

May God bless and keep all who read this.
May God bless and keep any new brothers and sisters in the faith in His name.

Love,
Chrom
